Episode 1 of a new and exciting (With hope!) Podcast in which we sit down for a chat with the editor of Cosmopolitan UK Farrah Storr (@Farrah_Storr). Tasked with reversing the fortunes of one of the UK's best loved and longest running glossy magazines, Farrah and her team are responsible for turning Cosmopolitan into the best selling women glossy magazine in the country and they did it all with some serious time constraints (In the latest round of ABC figures, she has successfully grown circulation by 59% year-on-year)! Farrah was also responsible for overseeing the successful launch of Women's Health UK (becoming the most successful women’s magazine launch of the last decade). Furthermore at the tail end of last year Farrah gave her first TED talk titled "The Leadership Revolution We All Need" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmkehuviHQU Over the duration of our chat we discuss: - The advantages of placing yourself in challenging situations - Millennials in the work place - The importance of leaving a good impression on your superiors - The changing landscape of media - Failing on your own terms - and much much more! With that in mind I sincerely hope you enjoy this, our first episode. Links to the episode and show notes can be found at www.thedeftpunk.co.uk
