Episode Twenty-Three - The Seamstress
As Frankie and Josie head off on their quests, Mary reminisces with Lota about meeting Josie…many, many years ago.
Note: This episode contains dual timelines, the “present” of our story and a historical timeline based on a real Black settlement in 1920s New Mexico. In the historical voice and context of the flashback scenes, Black characters refer to themselves as “colored.” No white characters or actors use the term. This episode also makes brief reference to the KKK.
