Did you miss us? We missed you! That’s right, it’s been far too long, and we’re back with a patented Oscars(TM) series, this time focusing on the year 1962. We kick things off this week with mid-century Hollywood stalwart Tennessee Williams. Boy do we wish we hadn’t. There are some legitimately good and enjoyable performances, but they’re wasted on a movie that said “you know what this play adaptation needs - more set pieces!” This movie is a hot mess, and not in the way Tennessee Williams would want us to see it. Oscars ‘62 kicks off this week with our review of Sweet Bird of Youth onMacintosh & Maud Haven’t Seen What?!
