Derek Clark was considered "unadoptable" in the foster care system. He went from home to home. He suffered unthinkable abuse. His early life was rife with aggression, emotional distress, overwhelming anxiety and humiliation. He took a second shot at his own life and ended up making a life for himself. He became financially successful but wanted more for his own family. Along the road, he went viral with his "rapping dad" movement, which encourages positivity and encouragement.
