In our first episode, I had the opportunity to sit down with Hafza Yusuf. She is a talented textile designer and business owner. With her Hafza Studios she designs (literally drawing), prints and moulds her fabrics into beautiful women wear. She makes hido iyo dhaqan with a unique mixture and twist of new, fresh design that still encapsulates that traditional Somali heritage. When she is not making incredible stuff, she volunteers her time to her community - with her art workshop for elderly women.
