"Those Millennials and Gen Zs - they just don’t want to work"

I’m you’ve either heard this or even thought this yourself as a Salon Owner.

There is a significant shift happening in the hair and beauty industry - we call it, the lifestyle effect. It's a phenomenon where the next generation of hair stylists and beauty therapist are saying NO to late nights and Saturdays and basically demanding more lifestyle-friendly working environments.

And while it might seem like kids these days have gone soft - the reality is that this phenomenon is actually a product of a society-wide shift.

And there are several factors driving this shift - from the cost of living - to the impact of new technologies over the past decade and of course, the global pandemic.

I know what you’re thinking; how can Salons compete with offering work from home and Saturdays off - it’s just not realistic.

Well, you can and you need to - and we’re going to tell you how.

In this episode of The Salon Owners Collective Podcast we’re going to take a deep dive into that shift AND reveal the 7 steps to navigating the new generation of the Salon Workspace and implementing a more flexible and lifestyle friendly Salon.
