On this episode of Roger the Wild Child Show: Nashville edition, we are joined by musician, Jacquie Roar who was on season 24 of NBC's The Voice and singer/songwriter, Holdyn Barder!

JACQUIE ROAR

From gracing the stage at the Oregon Jamboree to sharing it with music legends like Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Kelsea Ballerini, Dan + Shay, and more, Jacquie Roar has tirelessly carved her name into the music industry. Her journey finally ignited when she received the call to participate in Season 24 of America’s reality singing competition, The Voice.

Making her national debut, Jacquie Roar delivered a stunning rendition of “Here for the Party” by Gretchen Wilson, capturing the attention of all four coaches with a “four-chair turn.” Jacquie’s journey through the competition was marked by her determination, ultimately landing her a commendable 4th place finish in the finale.

Jacquie Roar isn’t just a powerhouse vocalist; she’s also a gifted songwriter. This dynamic artist will set the stage ablaze with her high-energy performances and send shivers down your spine with her emotionally charged ballads. Her new single “Learn About Love” is already catching heat and hitting radio waves. Watch out for this up and coming country rock diva.

HOLDYN BARDER

Being the son of a proud United States Marine, Holdyn Barder inherited a strong will and an indomitable spirit. His father's dedication and discipline through his own personal triumphs became the backbone of Holdyn’s uncommon work ethic. Holdyn’s got a knack for songwriting, too, and it's no surprise—his mother’s a poet. Holdyn Barder possesses a musical maturity that belies his age, making him an undeniable force. With his stadium-

electrifying guitar riffs, authentic storytelling, and charismatic demeanor, Holdyn’s one-of-a-kind identity allows

him to execute ballads and anthems. In January 2024, Holdyn Barder’s Philadelphia Eagles-themed love song “Go Birds” dominated Philly media, accumulating a staggering 1M+ views within 72 hours of posting the song to social

media. Holdyn Barder has established himself as one of Nashville’s most exciting up-and-coming artists. Holdyn’s musical endeavors have garnered widespread and generous recognition from the Philadelphia Eagles, CMT, Fox News, The Philadelphia Inquirer, MusicRow Magazine, 92.5 WXTU (Philadelphia’s Country Station), FOX, NBC, ABC, and more. Holdyn’s music has earned him editorial playlist consideration from Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music. Holdyn’s music has been co-penned by Holdyn with/or by songwriters responsible for Nashville’s largest hitmakers (Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Luke Combs, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, et. al.). In Summer 2023, the young star was recognized on the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s (NSAI) ‘Ones to Watch’ list. Holdyn’s exceptional achievements have merited him a coveted spot in the Stone Harbor Museum, where he now stands proudly alongside a familiar hometown neighbor, Taylor Swift. Holdyn Barder is just getting warmed up.
