Davina McCall is one of the nation’s most familiar and most loved personalities on television. She shot to fame as the face of Big Brother when she became the show’s presenter on its inaugural show, following which she has graced our screens on countless TV shows. She has released around 14 fitness DVDs, has written several cookery books and most recently co-wrote an incredibly honest and eye-opening book about menopause with Dr Naomi Potter following on from Davina’s hugely successful Channel 4 documentaries on menopause. In this episode, Davina sat down with our podcast host, Sophie Corbett, and shared how her parent's separation played a central role in her fear of abandonment and lack of trust and was able to come to terms with it as an adult with a hypnotist. She also spoke openly about substance abuse and how she got clean and sober. Davina also shared her experience with menopause, and the things not only women but also men should know. Davina is perhaps best known and loved for her trademark humour and warmth. For many of us, for well over 20 years, Davina has made us feel like she’s a best friend. She is an inspiration and a trailblazer, and we are thrilled to be In Conversation with Davina McCall.
