Rock and Roll Highschool

El rock experimental o “avant rock” fue una forma musical que buscó romper los límites de las formas tradicionales de composición o interpretación. Se buscaba experimentar en unas formas diametralmente opuestas a los conceptos estándar del pop o del rocknroll. El objetivo era romper las reglas, por lo que fue un estilo muy abierto a la improvisación, a las influencias de la música de vanguardia, a los ritmos extraños, las instrumentaciones raras y a las letras delirantes. Todo realizado, habitualmente, con un rechazo absoluto a las aspiraciones comerciales.
