Don't skip the greeting! I admit that I tend to read, "Paul, an Apostle, and so on, blah blah blah..." and skip to the body of the letter. If you're doing that too, here's what we're missing: "Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus...." That's everything, isn't it? Life, eternal life, is what everyone wants. There's a promise we can have it. And it's "in Christ Jesus."
