JR Motorsports Crew Chief of the No. 8 car, Taylor Moyer, joins Jason Schultz and Andrew Kurland to tell his story about rising through NASCAR's ranks to climb on top of the pit box. Moyer walks us through how he started working at Hendrick Motorsports, the various jobs he held and learning from the best of the best, including Chad Knaus and Steve Letarte. We learn how he transitioned from race engineer to crew chief and the different responsibilities involved in both roles. The JRM No. 8 car features a revolving door of drivers. He explains how he manages so many racers behind the wheel and what it's like working with vastly different personalities. He shares insight into the close-knit brotherhood teams develop on the road and shares a story about a snowboarding accident just days before a race at Auto Club Speedway.
