Lauren, Tom, and Alan were in New Orleans for FinCon, so this week we’re changing it up a bit! In this week’s House Money Podcast, we’re airing part of a recent Stacking Deeds episode in which they interviewed our very own Alan Corey. He used to host this show with Crystal Hammond, so the two easily fall into their old routine. Alan shared why his social media account is @realestatemaxi and the plans for the company called House Money Media (you may be familiar with it!). Alan shared how he, Lauren, and Tom share responsibilities at House Money Media and explained type of investor we help with our courses. We categorize investors into three different categories: pre-season, season 1, and season 2. The host asked Alan Corey on his top tip for the pre-season investors and it is to go back to basics. Alan also explained the Season 1 courses for short- and long-term rentals. He shared some of the lessons you will learn when you complete these courses. Aside from that, Alan also shared that the season 2 investing is for the people who are ready to scale. He also defined residential real estate and commercial real estate and the importance of having a partner in some deals.
