Non-US audiences are different. 21:50 Kdramas and non-Western audiences are different 23:00 Sylvia talks about Turkic romances and non-sanitized romance! (we go WTF is that) 26:55 But Bridgerton! 27:26 Straight men probably have trouble producing this material, they have disdain for it. You have to love the material to create something good. 28:38 Kat: But men haven't been "allowed" to express emotions like being a romantic. So... how will they open themselves up by championing a whole film? People as open about romance as Edward are rare. 29:55 Sylvia says, male romance authors are becoming more common. 31:00 Why is wanting to be James Bond any less "babyish" than wanting to be a fairy tale romantic prince?
