Raising Your Inner Voice with Jay Foss

Deborah and Razzaq join Jay to talk about the impact incarceration has had on their lives, and the work they do with Heart2Heart Inc. Razzaq is a black man from a lower middle-class family who grew up in Philadelphia and spent most of his adult life in NYC. Deborah is a white woman who grew up in an upper middle-class family in Fairfield County CT. Because of the work Heart 2 Heart does, they are hopeful that one day maybe in their lifetimes, that there will be major reforms in the criminal justice system that will lead to the ending of mass incarceration and the lifetime of legal discrimination people endure who have felony records.
