In today's Orthodox Nationalist, at issue is the “food transition” movement among oligarchs seeking to destroy farming as normally understood. Farmers are to be placed in total dependence on a corporate agri-universe that exploits them for the benefit of global corporations and investors with zero connection to or knowledge of farming. These farmers will be reduced to profit-extracting agents and employees who bear all of the risks while others take the profit. The creation of an entirely mechanized countryside is both a goal of advanced capitalism and a dream of Lenin.
