Harry Venice discusses a rare Friedrich Nietzsche book (Abraham Wolf's Lectures on Nietzsche in 1915) and how it relates to Carl Jung his psychology and individuation or living a life of meaning. Nietzsche's idea of 'living a grand life' and the concepts of war, and the conscious versus the unconscious are discussed. There is also an exploration of Jung's attitude to Nietzsche, the shadow and the existence of opposites in the psyche.
