This series retells the true story of the stalking and harassment of Scottish comedian Richard Gadd, who wrote and portrays himself in the series, by a woman who Gadd met while working in a pub in London. An act of kindness toward "Martha" as she is called in the series, leads to a three year toxic relationship between the two which is more than just stalking, and impossible to describe without watching.
