Today’s episode is with Erin Beatty, the founder of Rentrayage, which is a sustainable fashion brand that creates one-of-a-kind garments with upcycled vintage garments and fabrics.

Erin has many years of fashion industry experience, everywhere from Chanel to Nylon Magazine to Gap. In 2008, she co-founded SUNO, and even then, their inaugural collection was produced in Kenya from vintage Kanga fabrics.

After SUNO’s closing in 2016, Erin consulted with emerging brands until creating Rentrayage in 2019, rejecting the business-as-usual model and developing a way to reimagine what already exists; creating beauty and value from what has been discarded.

I had the pleasure of seeing the latest Rentrayage collection during New York Fashion Week this season, and you’ll hear about all this and more on today’s show!

So let’s just dive right in!
