We all know that drug prices are high and can at times be dubiously marketed. On this episode we dive in some of what author Gerald Posner found while writing his book Pharma: Greed, Lies, and the Poisoning of America. This episode was super refreshing to me to see that an investigative journalist, with a great history and reputation, would spend years diving into the world of prescription drugs and help confirm and highlight what many pharmacists have been discussing amongst themselves for years. I highly recommend you read the book Pharma, which can be found here: https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/pharma-gerald-posner/1132188912?ean=9781501152030 Senator Grassley's drug pricing bill can be found here: https://www.grassley.senate.gov/news/news-releases/grassley-introduces-updated-prescription-drug-pricing-reduction-act-2020 The Rodney Dangerfield reference is from the movie Back to School and is found in this video at about 2 minutes in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSLscJ2cY04
