Following Pete’s thoughts about the devastation from Hurricane Helene, University of South Carolina Adjunct Percussion Instructor and Drumline Director Bailey Seabury stops by to talk about his job at USC, the football gameday experience, getting ready to march the Macy’s Parade in November, freelancing, and the geography of the state (04:30), growing up near Birmingham, AL, having a father who was a band director, his sports background, and participating in mathletes (26:20), his undergrad years at Troy University (AL), playing at PASIC in 2012, and wearing out his first car (49:00), attending the University of Central Arkansas, their marching band and long bus trips, and his enjoyment of the city of Conway (01:07:25), his doctoral years at USC and his research on the marimba music of Kevin Bobo (01:18:40), and finishing with the Random Ass Questions, including discussions of starting percussionists on snare drum, his Alabama football fandom, his love of cycling and exercise, and playing The Planets (01:31:25).

Finishing with a Rave on Billy Joel and Sting live in concert in St. Louis (02:02:40).
