How do you go about restarting Mobility from scratch when a company has been spun out of a parent business?
Do you try to adapt the legacy GM program or launch a totally new one?
How do you maintain the best elements of the old program whilst starting totally anew?
How do you make the change work in terms of provider network?
How do you get the wider company on board with our new program?
The latest episode is a fascinating discussion with Jochen Lenz, Head Of Global Mobility at Daimler Truck, who went through the experience of relaunching Mobility at Daimler Truck, when it spun out from Daimler. Jochen started his career in Global Mobility Controlling at Daimler about 15 years ago, as he wanted to work internationally. In 2015 he moved to a more HR-focused role in Japan which he enjoyed professionally and privately – thanks to great food & snowboarding there. After returning to Germany he was part of the Daimler Truck spin-off in 2021, and led the build-up of the new Global Mobility function there.

An incredibly insightful episode - enjoy!
