Many of the past dialogues have, if indirectly, focused on why to study popular culture -- but how does one do that?

In this conversation, learn from popular culture scholars about how they approach the study of popular culture, and why they take the approach they do. They discuss different methods and methodologies, as well as the ethics of the research they conduct.

Join Erin Burrell, Christopher Zysik, and Ralph Beliveau as they ponder how they study popular culture producers, texts, and audiences. When something is as complicated as popular culture, a complicated research approach is sometimes unavoidable, and these scholars hope to help others learn how to do this important work.
