Kevin Mitchell (2015) an Alaska Native vanished in September of 2015 after driving south of Girdwood, Alaska and going on a hike.

Michael Crawford (2020) was camping and fishing with his canine and his girlfriend near Cooper Landing, Alaska when he vanished without a trace leaving his canine holding his fishing rods, hiking poles, and backpack.
