As the apprentice of Master Yoda and the mentor of Qui-Gon Jinn, Dooku was a prominent figure within the Jedi Order. However, disillusioned by the corruption within the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Council, he ultimately turned to the dark side and became a Sith Lord under the name Darth Tyranus.
