On September 5th, I hosted my first Not A Mama Yet Q&A Event in Los Angeles at Open Eye Crystals. Dr. Carolyn Alexander and Dr. Layne Kumetz graciously donated their time to be there and answer all of the audience's questions.

  • Dr. Layne Kumetz is a Board-Certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and an Attending Physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Her clinical expertise includes preventative medicine from adolescence through menopause, up-to-date birth control options, abnormal PAP tests, abnormal bleeding, infertility evaluations, cancer screening, pediatric gynecology and optimal obstetric care for both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. She proudly delivers 98% of her patients’ babies. She is home-grown here in Los Angeles, and even volunteered at Cedars Sinai in the Maternity Ward in high-school.

  • Dr. Carolyn Alexander has conducted extensive research on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and specializes in the treatment of patients facing the diagnosis of PCOS and infertility. Her other clinical interests include the treatment of endometriosis, unexplained infertility, and recurrent pregnancy loss. She also works closely with oncologists on the fertility preservation of patients who are about to undergo chemotherapy.

Here is the audio recording of the event. I shared with the audience prior to starting the event that I would be audio recording it, so anyone that didn't feel comfortable asking their question out loud had the option to do so with notecards I provided to the guests.

I hope you enjoy listening to this and learning from it! Follow me on Instagram if you want to stay in the know about future events!
