Synopsis: The Change follows a small band of children living like survivalists in a post-apocalyptic world. The older kids look out for the younger ones as they face “monsters” from without and within. A blend of drama and horror, the story is grounded by the children’s understated affection for and trust in each other and by the small, practical details--the handcuffs for sleeping, an unwelcome birthday gift--that make their experience and this world so utterly believable. The cast, led by Mollimykenna Whalen as Jess and Kaleb Roberts as Jeremiah, is simply phenomenal.
