And during the weekend, while Francesco Bagnaia did everything he could via a perfect weekend, his fifth of 2024, it was Jorge Martin who rode smartly with a pair of third place finishes to take the World Title. Yes, MotoGP has its first independent World Champion since Valentino Rossi in 2001.
