After an unexpected visit from missionaries, Dearly's life took a profound turn that would forever anchor her faith in Jesus Christ. Her testimony of the power of personal conversion through a dedicated study of the Book of Mormon illustrates the importance of humility, seeking knowledge, and building faith on a solid foundation which is Jesus Christ. Dearly then testifies that no matter their background, we all must ask hard questions and seek to develop our own testimony, and discover the unwavering support of the Savior as our personal spiritual anchor.
We conclude with exploring how "Christ-like" attributes, including qualities like discipline and organization, when integrated into our spiritual lives can lead to both temporal and spiritual success. We then discuss the transformative power of grace and the importance of involving the Savior in our journey toward personal growth and development. Even a small desire to change can activate the Savior's Atonement, allowing us to become more than we could on our own.
