Heads up babes. I use the F-word once in this podcast—so no kiddos in the room. Marking it explicit for this riff.

Social media analytics need to catch up and help us to see the bigger picture. While views/listenership, etc may be down, there are in fact other aspects that could be doing better than usual.

Why do analytics focus on the negative when it’s not productive for us? Not is it positive, encouraging or motivating. They can do better and they can facilitate us doing better.
