1. Pool of Bethesda
Many people believed that Jesus only healed one person at the pool of Bethesda, so it was assumed that it was the leading of the Holy Spirit and that is why Jesus did not heal anybody else and that God chooses who He heals and who He does not. So therefore healing is not for everyone. But is this really what this particular story is telling us. -
2. Rhema vs Logos
Traditionally we have been taught that logos is the written Word and Rhema is the spoken Word. So whatever you are reading in Scripture is the logos. If any Scripture spoke to you, or you get a divine revelation or a leading, then that is the Rhema word. You need a Rhema word from God before you could act on a scripture. However, is that really the case?
