As someone who has spent the past 22 years in Austin, Carlisle has a true passion for all things Austin, Texas. Carlisle grew up in Dallas and moved to Austin after graduating from Texas Tech University. Carlisle has called Dripping Springs home for the past 10 years and has watched the community blossom into what it is now. In 2018 Carlisle volunteered to donate part of her liver to her step Dad. She talks about her journey, the challenges of being a donor, and the body's ability to heal itself and regrow organs after donation. She's a true example of how wonderful the people of Dripping Springs can be.
