Growing up as a preacher's kid, I was surrounded by religion and church culture. Yet, despite my upbringing, I struggled to forge a deep, personal connection with God. Has this ever happened to you? Recognizing Jesus isn't confined to Sunday mornings. Picture this - you spot someone familiar at the grocery store but can't quite place them. You know you know them, but you can't remember from where. That disconnection can often be how we treat our relationship with Jesus, acknowledging Him only in a specific setting but failing to see His presence throughout our lives. I learned that just as knowing someone deeply requires more than a few minutes a week, forming a strong bond with Jesus necessitates recognizing Him in all aspects of our lives. Join me in this episode as we shed light on the importance of carrying our faith beyond the church doors to experience Jesus in all His fullness.
