Aileen Wuornos had a traumatic childhood. Years of abuse and neglect left her to fend for herself for most of her life, and eventually she earned a living through sex work in Florida. Aileen spiraled down a very dark path after she picked up a man who allegedly tried to kill her. She killed the man in what she claimed was self defense. Aileen snapped and then went on to murder 6 innocent men. In this episode we discuss her early life, unstable relationships, and what may have led her to this life of violence and murder. The book ‘Lethal Intent’ written by Sue Russel, is where some of the information on this case was found.
Shoutout to Colton Carnley with CX3 for everything he has done to help us get this podcast up and running. We, quite literally, couldn’t do it without him. Also, thank you to Paul Jones with Auralation Music for all of his help with audio engineering.
