Steve Cohen has spent a lot of money this season, more than any team in MLB. The guys debate how the rest of the owners around the league will respond and whether or not they will try and institute a salary cap during the next CBA.
Then, the guys recap some of the offseason moves made by the Mets and Yankees, are both teams actually better than they were last year? Is there more either team needs to do during the offseason? Was spending the money justified for the Mets?
Finally, the guys do a brief recap of players who have signed during the offseason and see whether or not their pre free agency predictions were correct.
