In a world where women are told they can “have it all,” Erica Anderson Rooney knows first-hand the experience of chasing success. For years, while raising two children, she climbed up the corporate ladder getting to the C-suite only to crash against a glass ceiling and deal with imposter syndrome. It was then that she confronted her obstacles head on. In her book, Glass Ceilings and Sticky Floors,” Erica is sharing her four-steps to uncovering infinite possibilities and discusses the concept of “sticky floors” as the unseen barriers—such as imposter syndrome—that keep individuals, particularly women, from reaching their full potential.
