When your nail color chips, it’s a bummer, right? But did you ever consider that a chipped nail is also cheering you on to build your resilience by reminding you that with a touch-up or change-up you’re good to go again? When chip happens in your career, business, or life, it’s not that simple. But, there is a path to a comeback and becoming more resilient. Today’s gal pal, Sharon Heno, knows all about this. We’re about to find out why and what she’s learned about staying resilient.

Today’s gal pal, Sharon Heno, is a licensed professional counselor and certified transformational coach. She refers to herself as The Comeback Kid because she’s had a transformation or two. We find out today how she has overcome adversity and stepped into her divine.

In this episode we talk about:

  • Overcoming adversity
  • Stepping into your truth and rewriting it when necessary
  • Identifying what is holding you back
  • Tools to build resilience
  • Reducing stress by journaling

Here’s a glance:

[2:57] Sharon’s black and nude combo nail color persona mirrors both her authenticity and her mysteriousness.

[9:13] Sharon shares the multiple ways she has come back stronger after adversity in her life and why she calls herself The Comeback Kid.

[13:19] After a birth control pill side effect left Sharon paralyzed, she was down but not out. She remained optimistic she would overcome it.

[18:15] For Sharon, stepping into your divine means finding your truth and then rewriting it.

[21:50] How to identify the imprints from the past that are holding us back.

[25:16] Journal entries reflecting gratitude and blessings are surefire ways to build resilience.

[32:54] Sharon’s special message is that everyone has a purpose. If you haven’t found it yet, go seek it out.

[33:58] I Shine! would be the name of Sharon’s nude with hints of gold nail color.

[35:49] In the Flip the Chip segment Mary highlights Sharon’s writing prompts and the power of daily journaling.
