It was a rough night for the Lightning in a 4-0 blanking by the South rival Carolina Hurricanes. Insider Erik Erlendsson was there and provides his insight and analysis. There was no Nikita Kucherov due to illness and it showed in the lack of Tampa Bay's offense for most of the first two and half periods.

The reality is Some nights you just lose, but how did it happen Saturday? That is the question, plus the importance of the upcoming road trip with the Bolts trying to get back on track after dropping two straight at home.
