WOLF Music is the London record label headed up by Stu Clark and Matt Neale. Hard at it since 2009, the label is the brainchild of two house and disco fanatics searching for an outlet their creative endeavours. WOLF has always been about the real HOUSE culture; the music and expressions from day dot to the most modern interpretations. Bringing onboard artists like Greymatter, KRL, Medlar, Bicep, Waze & Odyssey, James Welsh and Session Victim. Next up on WOLF Music is label family Medlar; a key character on the London underground scene, with most of his hours spent making, buying, playing, or talking about music, which lends him the sort of knowledge and understanding that makes him stand apart from the crowd. With this unique perspective Medlar joins the dots between sounds and scenes from yesterday to today with a real sense of narrative. His productions take in anything from deep and Detroit to acid or downtempo. A cutting and mastering engineer at the cult Peckham Cuts Dubplate Shop, he has spent time connecting people with the music they need in their life at Rye Wax Records, as well as releasing on the shop’s own West Friends label. Since his debut on WOLF in 2012, he has since evolved into a unique and eclectic producer releasing on labels like Delusions of Grandeur, Riverette, and West End Records. Medlar is back once again on WOLF Music, and this time he’s brought a couple of friends along for the ride. Here the WOLF OG showcases four solid Deep House cuts with some UK & US flavours.
