Episode 5 :: This episode explores the connection between trainers, Instructional Design, and Online Trainings.

It starts with a quick historical overview of how the Indian training industry connected with Instructional Design.

Then it talks about how Instructional Design helps a trainer deliver the usual on-ground training programs with higher effectiveness.

Finally, it discusses the challenges that trainers face during the online roll outs of the same on-ground training programs, and how instructional design helps them overcome those challenges.

The Learning Lights episodes publish every Wednesday. If you are a trainer, content developer, instructional designer, or any other learning professional; or if you inspire to be one, I invite you to subscribe to The Learning Lights Podcast. It is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and Anchor.fm.

For a lighter, non-Instructional Design, inspirational podcast marinated in humor and satire, check out The Spinning Top podcast.

Note from the Host: An Update for any listener who might've been wondering.

I didn't podcast on January 5, 2021 (Wednesday,) because I've been designing the podcast to meet your learning needs better. I shall be back on January 14th (Thursday,) with the next edition of the podcast, in which I will discuss the AFR Learner Types. Meanwhile if there's anything specific you'd like me to talk about, please drop me a line.

Have a Great New Year!
