Again I listened to a Twitter space on hiring and how there is a hiring freeze in the software development industry. Is it worth to learn how to code in 2023? I don't know.
Teaching yourself to code in 2023 is a twitter space hosted by @MelkeyDev on January 1, 2023 6pm CST Since Twitter spaces are temporary stored, I managed to get a recording of most of it for preservation purposes.
At long last, this is the end of this aweful year, the worst of my life. My wife is dead of colon cancer. Two uncles died of covid. I lost two jobs and quit the last one. I have no savings. I have no motivation to do anything anymore.
I got praised on a meeting, I just hope that I get a pay raise too.

And after finishing my last freelance job, I decided to build something for myself, and I found myself wanting to build a blog for myself. I love writing and what else to do if not that, we programmers are writers in the end.

And I lost a job to technical debt... Here is my story
Yet another unscripted episode. I talk about AWS cloud pros and cons, my prevous job, how to scalate the corporate ladder, my plans to learn german. etc.
And after more than a week of working as a AWS developer, I been learning a lot and putting a lot of effort. I just hope to become valuable to the team.

And you may think that all your tools should be programs that run on your computer or phone, but the reality is that these items are helping me more than any computer has ever done on these past 11 years of working building software.
And a decision every business owner needs to make is if it's better to make software in-house or just ask someone else to do it for you...
