What do you do when two sisters who are also neighbors start getting mean and try to trick you?
What do you do when you want a beach house vacation but have no control over making that happen?
Thirteen year-old Katie decided to pray about these things! Not perfectly, but she did!
With the neighbor girls, not tolerating lies and tricks was a move toward healthy relationships for Katie. No relationship can be trustworthy with lies and tricking.
Then, Katie journals the details of her family's plans to go to a beach house for a vacation together. This was and still is one of my favorite ideas for a vacation! And again, 13-yo Katie takes the desire to the Lord.

One of five truths from this prayer journaling book is that the season you are in won't last! Holding onto that truth gives us great perspective. It's easy to think the hard season or the good season you are in will always be that way. But that's not how it works. Join me in reading Ecclesiasties 3:1-13 "To everything there is a season!"
