Prof. Uzi Rabi, director of the program for regional cooperation Tel Aviv University and an expert on the Middle East, said that the Houthis in Yemen believe they can capitalize on being the last remaining “savior” of the Palestinians. He told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that this attitude was aimed at giving them legitimacy now and in any future scenario in Yemen and that the strikes on Houthis by Israel and the United States were, until now, too weak to change their zeal to continue attacking Israel and disrupt sea passage in the Red Sea.
