Embodiment for self-awareness and change with Ruth Haslett
Manage episode 429655889 series 3587276
In this episode, I chat with Ruth Haslett about embodiment practices for self-awareness and change. We talk about the power of tuning into your body, the benefits of embodiment in therapy, and cultivating a kinder relationship with yourself.
Ruth is a therapeutic coach supporting overwhelmed humans to shift from stressed and anxious to a calmer state, to live a happier and fulfilled life.
By creating a safe space for clients to become deeply aware of well-worn habits and behavioural patterns, Ruth supports them in learning to consciously challenge their limiting thoughts, calmly balance their emotions, and tune in to the experience of being present in their bodies.
As a recovering anxious, burnt-out human, Ruth truly believes that supporting others to live happier, more fulfilled, and emotionally aware lives results in a society that is healthier, more connected and functioning at its best.
After gaining twenty years of experience as a social worker, Ruth trained as a coach in 2020. She has worked with More Happi, coaching employees from organisations such as Friends of the Earth, Pact Coffee, Minor Figures and Blue Ventures. Alongside her private coaching work, she currently freelances with Lyra Health and Mental Health UK alongside her private coaching work.
