When we are in the falling-in-love stage of a relationship, it is all about ourselves. It is how the other person makes us feel. We are called to follow God beyond that phase and into a deeper relationship, one that focuses on the service of the other. Today we witness Jesus come into the Holy City of Jerusalem and we celebrate he comes not to do what we desire, but what we need from God instead.
