Rabbi Dr. Gil Perl has been the Head of School of 3 schools, and yet he calls himself an "accidental educator". Find out what he means by that, and how he intends to create the new Jewish Leadership Academy in Miami, set to open in 2023, as a project of the Ades Family Foundation, of which he is the CEO of. Rabbi Perl explains how his fascination with the Jewish future stemmed from his less natural entrance into school leadership, which pushed him to question the way we educate, and the way children really learn. Rabbi Perl discusses some of the 10 principles of learning he created in the process of opening the Kohelet Lab school, and much more. This is part 1 of this episode with Rabbi Dr. Perl. Part 2 on parenting will be released next week.
