Send me your feedback!

You know when you set out to write a book and it seemed so straightforward - just transfer the message or story in your head into a typed document and then send it to a publisher and boom! You're a published author!

But then you sat down to write and you experienced writer's block, so you turned to Google, joined some FB groups, and listened to some podcast episodes, only to discover that in addition to overcoming that hurdle of actually writing the manuscript, you also need to build a platform, grow an email list, post on social, start a blog, and, and, and....

Soon your to-do list is 12 pages long, you're overwhelmed, frustrated, and questioning if you should write a book after all.

Is this you? Let me know!

📞Click the red phone icon or go to inkandimpact.com and leave me a voice message! I want to hear from you!

I'm also here to tell you that your story DOES matter and it IS worth writing. If you know that God has given you a message to share, then it's important to heed that calling.

Hi, I'm Dalene Bickel, your host, book coach, and fellow pen-pusher. As a developmental manuscript editor for almost 30 years and an indie author of more than a dozen books, I know exactly what author burnout feels like and how debilitating it can be.

But the good news is that I've learned ways to minimize its effects ... and even prevent it altogether. That's what I'm going to share with you on today's episode: How to Avoid Burnout as an Indie Author.

And just so you know, I'm here to help you outside of the podcast as well.
