This episode is canon. When crowdfunding blew up in the early 2010s, it seemed like a new golden age of media was upon us: dormant franchises were given long-awaited spiritual successors and small creators were given resources to chase their dreams and make media that would never be greenlit by a studio. One of these early success stories was Barkley 2* and today we're going to talk about its creation and how Kickstarter allowed a humble Something Awful goon the opportunity to create The Greatest Game of All Time.
