Queen Elizabeth II died on 8 September 2022, aged 96 years and having celebrated her Platinum Jubilee as Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Commonwealth of Nations, Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.
