Actor and Comedian Tommy Davidson made us all laugh in the 90’s sketch comedy “In Living Color” and hit movies like “Strictly Business” and “Booty Call,” which he co-starred with Vivica Fox. In this week’s episode, Tommy continues to share the laughs and gets personal about the challenges he faced during his childhood, his tumultuous journey in Hollywood and his ongoing struggle with addiction. He opens up about those emotional experiences and more in his memoir “Living In Color” and gets candid with Vivica about the ups and downs of making it in Hollywood. But before his rise to fame, Tommy recounts being abandoned as a baby unconscious in a dumpster and the white family who adopted him. He shares the importance of forgiveness, including the moment he spoke to his biological mother for the first time. He used drugs to deal with his pain and describes his road to recovery before becoming sober 22 years ago. Find out how he bombed on his first audition, what it was like to work with Halle Berry in his first movie and the hardest part of being on “In Living Color.” He also describes his experience being blackballed in Hollywood and the high expectations he faced. Vivica gets emotional as Tommy reminisces about her Father who was an important role model to him. It’s an in-depth and heartfelt interview you don’t want to miss.
