Cheapest place you can buy this book (at time of writing) AND quick to deliver, both of which agree with my ethos, a 'Humming' productive life should be accessible to everyone. As an Amazon Associate, I also get something little from Amazon when you purchase from this special link. It's not much (4%, which is like 40c on a $10 book) and costs my listeners nothing, but powers me enough to continue to deliver the best possible content. Deepest thanks... if only you can just see how grateful I am right now :) I feel financially silly for saying this, but you can, of course, even borrow from your local library! Or just buy a cheap copy for yourself for now and maybe pay it forward to someone else whom you think might benefit. Good things become better when shared, right?

Imagine instant gratification every time you complete something
Pretty motivating right? You get a little pumped. You probably want to dance with somebody. Every day is a dream.
But the reality is, we don't get instant gratification for our work. Feedback doesn't come immediately, let alone easily. Hell... Your paycheck is weekly, fortnightly or at worst monthly.
But, I tell you what ... you can still get that motivating feeling from instant gratification in other ways.
Here's what I do, inspired by a book called Atomic Habits by James Clear.
At the start of my workday, I write a to-do list on my computer specifically on Outlook (so it stares at me all day and I remain focused)
Every time, I complete a task on the list, I click to flick, listen out for that click and watch it being crossed in front of me.
Try it. There's something strangely satisfying about it and you would probably want to dance with somebody too
